I’m from San Antonio, Texas. I’ve been married to Jeanne for 42 years. We are blessed with twin daughters, Amanda and Andrea. I’ve tutored with noted artist and teacher, Bruce Marsh, of the University of South Florida, Tampa as well as studying oil painting in college. For over 60 years, I’ve been creating art and I’m always looking for ways to inform and improve my work.
In 1992, I started an art and picture framing business, selling my pencil and watercolor portraits. I was commissioned by Dr. Phan Trang Damh to do a watercolor portrait of Prince Norodhom Sihanouk and his wife, Princess Monique, which is currently exhibited in their palace in Cambodia.
I was represented by Nuance Galleries, Tampa, for many years as well as winning Best of Show Florida State Fair, 2010. Current collectors of my artwork are: The Miller Brewing Co.; Tampa General Hospital; St. Joseph’s Hospital, Tampa, The University of Tampa; Allegany College, Cumberland, Md.; Dann Ocean Towing; South Atlantic Capitol Corp.; Hillsborough County, Tampa; Nationsbank; Bank of America; Foley and Lardner Law, Tampa; Dykema Gossett Law Firms, Detroit; Century 21, Tampa; Ross Office Products, Tampa.
