**CLOSED 11/6/2025

Our 12 year gallery services relationship has ended.  The municipal building no longer hosts our gallery space on the 4th floor.  There is a permanent exhibit in the library on  3rd floor.  It is a unique collection of portraits of local women entitled “Women Who Work” as a tribute to the 100th anniversary for women’s right to vote.  The portraits were painted by local artist members of Women’s Caucus for Art.  Galleries on the Go sponsored the acquisition on behalf of the Town of Indian Shores, as a donation to the town.

The municipal building houses the Indian Shores Community Center, Library, art gallery Indian shores Police Department, and City Council Chambers. The fourth floor gallery is a beautiful venue with breathtaking shoreline views. It is located near the elevator landing leading to the Community Center where residents and tourists frequently visit for classes in Yoga, Tai Chi, and oil painting, and gather for bridge games and reader’s circles. Local artists showcase their themes ranging from coastal scenes to wildlife to portraits. The vast array of media selection tempts collectors with below market prices. Special gallery receptions highlight the exhibits with an evening of wine & cheese and live classical music. Patrons are encouraged to take their purchases home, no need to wait until the exhibit ends!
