Description
Roger Block, a thirty-plus-year veteran of indigenous tribal studies, is the headliner for this event. With informative details, this presentation is far from dry historical accounts. Roger breathes life into a journey back in time. Dressed in period clothing, Roger adds an authentic touch to his presentation.
Bring your lawn or beach chair, sit back and relax while you join Roger in a friendly discussion. Hear historic lore on the native people who called themselves Tocobaga and their gentle ways. You will learn about their place in history, their daily habits, the cultural fabric, and most importantly the sacred care of our beloved beaches.
Docent tours held twice monthly from October through May.
Parking fees collected by the Town of Indian Shores (Ticket price does not include parking of $2.50 per hour)
