Start your art resume with this high traffic location inside the Bay Coffee and Tea ARGOS student lounge and collaborative center. University of South Florida campus located in Tampa is a metropolitan university for public research. The ARGOS lounge is an iconic location opened in 1963 as a part of a student residency hall. Galleries On The Go is the curator for adult and student artwork on display in the lounge, which is now dedicated as a collaborative work center and test kitchen. The Bay Coffee and Tea company which serves organic coffee and snacks, hosts access to the space. We are seeking artwork for two months beginning Jan 1, 2019 and ending Feb 28, 2019. Artwork is intended for the interior of the building. Artists are asked to submit examples of completed 2-dimensional work and to demonstrate their interest and ability to complete other art projects at this site or one of the 7 locations curated by Galleries On The Go. This is a regional exhibit open to students and adults from HIllsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. Student artists will be given preference. At least 10 artists will be selected to show 3 pieces for a total of 30 pieces of art selected from submissions. Size requirements: no larger than 20 x 24 framed or gallery wrapped pieces of 2D art or photography. Fees: $28 for the entire two months, payable via PayPal invoice to your email address.
